Prioritising the Formation of Safety and Health Committees: The Occupational Safety and Health Authority and Agency (OSHA) was invited to provide guidance to the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services (TTFS) on forming Safety and Health Committees at the
TTFS.
It was an interactive session where officers of the TTFS were able to discuss mandates of a Health and Safety Committee under the OSH Act.
This initiative is hoped to have continuous channels of engagement through the joint desire to achieve best practice levels of safety and health management, as well as emergency prevention for workers and the general public.
